About

Italian World Cup slalom and giant slalom racer, born in Bolzano and based in Selva di Val Gardena, South Tyrol, racing for Gruppo Sciatori Fiamme Gialle. Made his World Cup debut in Nov 2017 and reached his first podium in Jan 2020 (3rd, slalom, Zagreb). Still seeking a maiden World Cup win, but a steady top-of-the-field presence with 4 individual podiums (3 SL, 1 GS) through 2025-26, including a runner-up slalom finish at Kitzbuehel (Jan 2025) and a giant slalom silver at Beaver Creek (Dec 2025). His signature achievement to date came as part of a team: gold in the Nations Team event at the 2025 World Championships in Saalbach-Hinterglemm alongside Giorgia Collomb, Lara Della Mea and Filippo Della Vite; he also won individual slalom bronze at the 2023 World Championships (Courchevel), team-event bronze at Åre 2019 and the 2019 Junior World Championship slalom title. Has competed at three Olympics (2018, 2022, 2026) without an individual medal (he did not finish the 2026 slalom at Bormio).

Career World Cup record through 2025-26: 0 wins, 4 podiums (3 SL, 1 GS). Attended the Ski Academy in Stams, Austria (A-levels, 2018). Speaks Ladin, Italian, German, French and English.
