About

American World Cup alpine ski racer specializing in downhill, racing for Team Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley Ski Team). One of the tallest athletes on the circuit at 6'7" (201cm). Joined the U.S. Ski Team in 2011 and broke through in 2015 with a run from bib 57 to 6th at the Val Gardena downhill. Recorded both of his World Cup wins on that same Val Gardena track (Dec 2021 and Dec 2023, the latter from bib 34, plus a 3rd two days later), and finished 5th in the World Cup downhill discipline standings in his best season, 2023-24.

3 career World Cup podiums, all downhill (2 wins, 1 third), all at Val Gardena. Competed at 3 Olympics (2018, 2022, 2026) and 4 World Championships without a medal. Grew up skiing at Palisades Tahoe from age 2.
