Born August 14, 1984, daughter of ski shop owners in Invermere, BC; raced nearly a decade on Canada's national alpine ski team, competing in giant slalom at the 2006 Turin Olympics (DNF first run) and finishing 3rd overall in the Nor-Am Cup GS standings that year. After a string of knee surgeries ended her racing career, she earned her ACMG ski guide certification and reinvented herself as one of the world's top ski mountaineers, settling in Revelstoke, BC. Sponsored by The North Face (which has featured her in its own athlete-bio content and 2023's 'Earthside' film) and by ski brand Black Crows. Her list of first descents has reached 19+ in six years (2018-2025), including a February 2025 first descent of the Great Couloir on Mount Robson (highest peak in the Canadian Rockies) and a May 2024 first-ever ski descent of Pakistan's Great Trango Tower alongside fellow The North Face athletes Chantel Astorga and Jim Morrison.
