About

American freestyle skier born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, competing in slopestyle and big air for Park City Ski and Snowboard. In 2016 he suffered a traumatic brain injury (fractured skull) in a car accident after falling asleep at the wheel driving an injured teammate home from Mt. Hood, Oregon; he returned to competition roughly five months later and won his first World Cup (slopestyle, Seiser Alm) about eight months after the crash. Became the first rookie in X Games history to win Ski Slopestyle gold (Aspen 2020, after also winning the inaugural Knuckle Huck). Won Olympic big air silver at the 2022 Beijing Games with a switch double cork 1800.

2020 X Games Aspen: Knuckle Huck gold (inaugural event) and first-rookie-ever Slopestyle gold. 2020-21 season: Slopestyle and overall Park & Pipe Crystal Globes. 2021 World Championships: slopestyle silver. 2022 Beijing Olympics: big air silver (91.25, switch double cork 1800). Career totals per search summaries: 4 World Cup wins, 12 World Cup podiums, 5 X Games golds across three events. Jan 2026 X Games Aspen; slopestyle silver (behind Luca Harrington) and Knuckle Huck silver (jumped from 4th to 2nd on a late nose butter dub 10 tail tap) - per FREESKIER's own event recap.
