Won bronze in slalom at his first Junior World Championships (2014) and helped Switzerland win team gold at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, clinching the decisive point over Marco Schwarz. Earned his first World Cup win at the Madonna di Campiglio night slalom in December 2018 - the first Swiss men's World Cup slalom win since Marc Gini in 2007. Made World Cup history on 4 February 2024, winning the Chamonix slalom after sitting 30th following the first run - the largest final-run comeback in World Cup slalom history, surpassing Lucas Braathen's 29th-to-1st run at Wengen in 2022.
