About

Finnish World Cup speed skier (downhill, super-G) racing for Santa Claus Ski Team, competing at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics and three World Championships. Qualified for the season-ending Kvitfjell downhill finals (top 25 only) in 2025-26, but suffered a serious training crash (head injury) during downhill training in Garmisch on 27 Feb 2026, requiring hospitalization in Germany before returning to Finland.

0 WC podiums, 3 top-10s through Feb 2026 (Wikipedia). Serious training crash 27 Feb 2026 in Garmisch (head injury, also knee assessed); per a 9 March 2026 Yle interview, cut-resistant race pants likely prevented a worse outcome.
