With a mild dating nuance. Wester, born Nov 17, 1987 in Stockholm (per Wikipedia), broke onto the freeskiing scene in 2005 (2nd at the Jon Olsson Invitational, mentored by countryman Jon Olsson) and built a competitive career in big air and slopestyle through the late 2000s (X Games bronze 2009, multiple Big Air wins) before transitioning to backcountry/big-mountain skiing and filmmaking. His MSP history goes back further than recent coverage might suggest: he appeared in MSP's 'In Deep' (2009) and 'The Way I See It' (2010), so a 2025 MSP-adjacent write-up describing him (alongside Parker White and Nikolai Schirmer) as making his 'MSP debut' in 'After the Snowfall' appears to understate that history -- he's returning to MSP, not debuting. Sponsor note: he was originally an Armada athlete (signed ~2005), but has since switched to Rossignol Freeride, per his own Instagram bio; no specific Rossignol pro model could be confirmed after searching.
