About

American cross-country skier (Alaska Pacific University Nordic Ski Center), full name James Clinton Schoonmaker, born in Truckee, California. Competed in the sprint at the 2022 Beijing Olympics and skied collegiately for the University of Alaska Anchorage. Career-best World Cup result: 3rd place, 1.4km classic sprint, Dec. 2023 in Ostersund, Sweden.

Wikipedia's own article body states he was 'born April 12, 2000,' which conflicts with the same article's infobox ('August 12, 2000') and with his FIS official biography (Birthdate 12-08-2000, i.e. 12 August 2000, DD-MM format). Used the FIS-confirmed date (2000-08-12), consistent with the Wikipedia infobox.
