About

German cross-country skier (SC Oberstdorf), born and based in Oberstdorf, who began skiing at age 5. Competed at the 2019 World Championships and the 2022 Beijing and 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics -- winning bronze in the women's team sprint with Coletta Rydzek at the latter (18 February 2026, Germany's first cross-country skiing medal of the Games). Won World Cup team sprint gold with Rydzek in Lahti on 22 March 2025 and again in Goms on 23 January 2026, following that with a 2nd-place individual sprint finish at Goms the next day -- her best individual World Cup result. Remained active on the World Cup circuit through the rest of the 2025-26 season, including a 5th-place individual sprint final at Drammen in March 2026, before undergoing minor knee surgery (a torn lateral meniscus) in April 2026.
