About

Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer from Villach, Carinthia, racing for SC Bad Kleinkirchheim - a true all-rounder with 8 World Cup wins spread across five disciplines (3 slalom, 2 giant slalom, 1 super-G, 1 parallel, 1 combined). Won three gold medals at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics before making his senior World Cup debut in November 2014, and later won the World Cup slalom discipline title in 2021. Has taken seven World Championship medals across five appearances (2017-2025), including combined gold, and an Olympic team silver with Austria in the PyeongChang 2018 mixed team parallel event. After a near two-year win drought, he returned to the top of the podium with back-to-back World Cup victories in December 2025: giant slalom at Alta Badia (21 Dec) and super-G at Livigno (27 Dec).
