About

Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer specializing in giant slalom and super-G (also races downhill), residing in Maurach, Tyrol. 2025 World Champion in giant slalom and 2023 World Championship bronze medalist in the alpine combined; sister Ricarda Haaser is also a World Cup ski racer (won combined bronze at the same 2023 Worlds one day earlier). Still seeking his first World Cup win, Haaser was Austria's most consistent super-G performer in 2025-26 with three podiums, all third-place finishes: Copper Mountain (27 Nov 2025), Beaver Creek (5 Dec 2025) and the Lillehammer/Kvitfjell season finale (22 Mar 2026).

World Championships: gold (GS, 2025), bronze (combined, 2023) per Wikipedia body text; Wikipedia's medal-record infobox totals 3 World Championship medals (1 gold) across 2 Worlds appearances, one more than the two individual medals described in the prose - the third may be an uncounted team-event medal not detailed in the article text. 8 career World Cup podiums, all SG, 0 wins, through the 2025-26 season (7 per Wikipedia's early-Feb-2026 cutoff, plus a further 3rd place at the Lillehammer/Kvitfjell finale on 22 Mar 2026 confirmed directly via FIS's results database). Switched from Fischer (sponsor since childhood) to Atomic ahead of the 2025-26 season; Fischer said it would have liked to keep him but had non-renewed several OeSV athletes' contracts (including sister Ricarda's) for financial reasons.
