About
American freeride skier, nicknamed 'Boss Ross', born and raised in Truckee, California, who came up through the Palisades Tahoe team before graduating from the University of Utah. Now based around Snowbird/Alta, where he also coaches the Alta/Bird Freeride team. Won FWT21 Rookie of the Year and finished 3rd overall in FWT22, then made a Season Wildcard comeback in 2025 (1st at Baqueira Beret, 2nd at Xtreme Verbier, 6th overall) and remained a top contender through 2026 (3rd overall).
FWT's own bio lists his location as 'Snowbird/Alta', and he received a Season Wildcard for the 2025 FWT (alongside WeiTien Ho, Simon Perraudin and Edvin Olsson) after previously winning FWT21 Rookie of the Year and taking 3rd overall in FWT22. Additional context: Flylow's athlete bio traces his roots to Truckee, California and the Palisades Tahoe team, and confirms he now coaches the Alta/Bird Freeride team, explaining the strong Alta/Snowbird association beyond just being his current home base. The plain 'wildcard' label undersells how well the comeback went: 6th overall in 2025 and 3rd overall through the 2026 season, with three podiums across those two seasons.
