About
Canadian freeride skier and FWT veteran, raised between Salt Lake City, Switzerland, and Vancouver, with a competitive twin-brother rivalry (Liam Peiffer) shaping his early career. Made his FWT debut in 2019 with an immediate 3rd-place podium in Hakuba, narrowly missed requalification in 2021, then bounced back with a win at Crested Butte and a 4th at Silverton to earn his way back onto the tour.
Peiffer is a genuine FWT veteran, not a newcomer: he made his tour debut in 2019 with an immediate 3rd-place podium at Hakuba (alongside Markus Eder and Tanner Hall), narrowly missed requalification in 2021, then bounced back with a win at Crested Butte and a 4th at Silverton to earn his way back on. He's currently competing on the 2025/26 Pro Tour, ranked 17th through 4 stops (Baqueira 20th, Val Thorens 18th, Kicking Horse 9th, Georgia 8th). Equipment: FREESKIER Magazine's November 2025 feature on Blizzard's new 'Canvas' freeride line names Peiffer as one of seven veteran athletes (alongside Elyse Saugstad, Connery Lundin, Caite Zeliff, Marcus Caston, Joel Pollinger, and Johan Jonsson) who have 'shepherded Blizzard's freeride program' and contributed athlete feedback to the new Canvas line (built in 100/108/118mm widths); no personal signature model is named for him specifically. Also sponsored by Tecnica boots, Arc'teryx, Smith Optics, Backcountry Access, and CSM Whistler.
