About
French freeride skier from Les Arcs, trained at the Freeski Academy Les Arcs (co-founded by his father, ski instructor Xavier Troubat). Progressed through the Challenger Series to earn his spot on the 2026 Freeride World Tour. Delivered a composed rookie season, capped by a 2nd-place run at the YETI Alaska Haines Pro, to finish 5th overall.
FWT's own bio explicitly describes his 'consistent and composed rookie season' in 2026, which he capped with a 2nd place at the YETI Alaska Haines Pro to finish 5th overall - a notably strong rookie campaign that the bare label undersells. Equipment confirmed via Salomon's own athlete page and a Salomon Freeski social media post: Troubat rides the Salomon S/LAB QST Blank and directly contributed to the ski's design, helping ensure its liveliness and agility - a more specific and interesting detail than a generic brand mention.
